Home > About Me

I was born in Georgia in 1969, and have been a Fayette County native since 1980. I was married to my beautiful wife in 1993 and God blessed me with my adorable little girl named Mariah in 1998. Mariah is my inspiration for my photography, so of course her name reflected on my business. My parents gave me my first camera for Christmas when I was 12 years old. This was a inexpensive point and shoot 35mm camera. I have always had a passion for taking pictures, but never did learn about the art of photography until I took a class for crime scene investigation/photography in 1994. Thanks to wonderful automatic programing features of cameras, I forgot most if not all of the understanding of the art of photography.

After Mariah was born, I bought my first Nikon SLR 35mm. I had so much fun taking pictures of my little girl (just like every other parent). Friends and family would often comment on how good my photographs were and one day someone mentioned about me doing it professionally. I dabbled in it a little and loved it so much that I took it up as a profession. The problem was that I had to relearn the art. I am proud to say that I am an imaginative and self taught photographer.

Wedding photography is what I enjoy the most. I enjoy the challenge of working around scheduling problems, frustration, stress and tardiness which are common adversities on this special day. I have the concept that "I will work with you on your wedding day......Not, you have to work around me." It is a bride's special day and she does not need any more stress than she already has on her.

I often receive compliments from brides, grooms, parents, and guests on my job performance and photographs. They comment on how professional, funny, and polite that I have been during the weddings. I have even had several people say that I have been the best photographer they have ever dealt with, before they even see my photographs.

I give all credit to my Lord Jesus Christ. He has blessed me with patience, imagination, personality and a gift of an easy temper. There are more expensive photographers out there, but I am fair and I love the results of my work.
